Application - Shorack [not accepted]
What is your name in Warband and on TaleWorlds?
Shorack, both on Taleworlds forum and on Warband servers.
Are you over the age of 15?
21 years old and counting.
How good do you speak or understand English? Do you have a working microphone/headset?
- I have no problems whatsoever with reading English as well as hearing and understanding English.
- My netbook has mic, i usually run warband on desktop while using netbook for teamspeak/ventrillo.
Where are you from?
- Belgium (always one hour later than the time in London)
I want to make known one drawback i have:
I'm only able to schedule time for training/wars on friday evenings and saturdays during daytime. You could say that as long as your training/war takes place somewhere between friday 5pm and saturday 6pm, i'll be able to attend.
Not that i don't play warband at any other moment, it's just that it's hard to explicitly make time for it, it's all quite ad hoc during the rest of the week. The drawbacks of living together i'm afraid.
Daily forum activity etc is no problem though.
I hope that doesn't scare you people, i'm really longing for some more organised combat, this game simply demands it if you want to get everything out of it.
Kuddo's,
Shorack

You should manage at least two trainings a week then (Friday and Saturday, 19:00 GMT+1). That'd be okay. I guess we'll see in your trail period. One question though: How can you play Warband with a netbook and have fun? I at least need place for a large keyboard et cetera.
Welcome to the Guard!
You are under observation
Please change your in-game name to: IG_Rct_Shorack
(Rct stands for Recruit)

Before you are accepted as a regular member, you will have to play with us regularly, participate in trainings, use the forums and TeamSpeak. In order for the clan to earn and keep a good reputation, you are also asked not to whine or insult in-game or on the forums and to try to behave as maturely as possible. Being immature occasionally, spamming in the chat or forums and cursing isn't forbidden, but it should definitely not be the rule. Also take a look at What does [pending] mean?
You are now added as a pending Guardsman and should see some new areas on this forum. After two weeks, or in some cases earlier, it will be decided if you stay in the clan.

I use the netbook for teamspeak. I play warband on my desktop.
We'll see how feasible it is to do 2 trainings a week. I mainly wonder a bit about the one on saturday, though i guess i'll manage. (except for coming sat)
Thanks for giving me a chance to prove i'll fit in.
ps: is there an irc channel?

There is one for Warband, but not for our clan. We mainly use xfire, Steam and TeamSpeak3.Shorack wrote:ps: is there an irc channel?

I hope to see you a bit more often on TeamSpeak and in-game/in trainings, in order to decide whether to accept you or not once your trial is over.
Re: Application - Shorack [not accepted]
No worries (i hope), i'll be there on the friday training.
